Well, I’m going to try to tackle a big catch-up. I’ve got some dishes calling me, but afterwards, the blogging continues. Yeah so I’m been a little lax in the blog-o-sphere.     Women’s Roles in Church

    (1 Corinthians 14:26-40) So as read the topic title for my devotions this morning I thought “Ah, something good today about worship”, but as I got to the third paragraph I couldn’t believe what I was reading. This is what is says: “(33b) As in all the congregations of the saints, (34) women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. (35) If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.” As I read those words I found a passage that seems to be used in many church, even my own historically.     Major Catch-Up Coming…

    Ok, so I’ve been pretty out of it blog-wise the past week. It’s not so much an issue of not wanting to blog. It’s just an issue of having the right time to do it. I’m thinking I’m going to work in a good chunk of time tomorrow to catch up on everything that’s been going on. I think my problem too is that I really like doing my post right before I go to bed. This is good and bad as my day is done but I usually spend a good chunk of time writing and don’t get to bed as soon as I really need to.   • Wow, Shortest Post Ever…

    Ok, so what a day. I wish I had the time to write all that I wanted, but off to bed I go, already late. Quick recap, woke up with a terrible cold (blah), great day at work, wonderful time at praise team practice (this is going to be a great group of youth to work with, we might even get good enough to lead on a Sunday), and well no new news from Apple. Busy day tomorrow with youth group, should be a good one! Chow All!

    So I know that I’d let everyone know how the engagement happened so here it is. It’s not some super amazing thing. I really wish I could have made it a super magical experience but I just didn’t get there. I planned out a full day of activities together starting with breakfast. I was wanting to include Vanessa’s parents in on the breakfast but they couldn’t make it. Before I got to her place to take her to breakfast I made a quick stop over to the flower shop to get a rose for her. My plan was to use it later in the day.     What God Brings…

    It has been a few days since my last update. I think I should now be able to have more regular updates as I finally have internet access at my place, and my wireless is up and running. It’s not that I couldn’t post from Vanessa’s, that’s where the last one was posted from, I’ve just had a lot of other things to do during the day, and my best posting time is usually at night. If I’m at Vanessa’s in the evening we are usually spending time together, well I guess we’ve been spending just about all our evenings together.   • Quick For Now…Best Birthday Ever!

    So, before I hit the sack. I just have to thank the most amazing women in the world [Vanessa ;-)] for the most amazing birthday ever. OK, so some of you are thinking “it’s not your birthday yet” well, we celebrated early because we’ve got our dance class on Tuesday. Today was an awesome day! Vanessa gave me a season of Seinfeld on DVD and a disc golf bag. She took me out for dinner at a great place called Rose’s on Reeds Lake, and we had some wood-fired pizza, it was excellent. After dinner we headed over to a theatre to see an improv group (River City Improv). We had a load of laughs. Well, I’ll have to get into more later. I don’t…
