    Busy Night…Small World

    Well, today (er, I guess looking at the time I have to say tomorrow), it was a pretty slow day at work. Had a fun time talking about bread with a co-worker, she has like 3 bread machines, seems like her family would have bread coming our of their ears. From the conversations in the break room today you could definitely tell it was a Friday. After work I stopped at the seminary to meet with Phil to talk about a projector installation project.     Just Another Quick One

    So it won’t be long, of course it’s getting late again. Well I think I can count like 5 books I’m now in the process of reading…probably going to add another couple more before the month even starts I think. I’m sort of overwhelmed, but at the same time I’m kind of happy to actually be doing some reading. When I was a lot younger I used to read a lot. I remember buying books from the book clubs all the time. In those days I read some fantasy books, but I read a lot of mystery type books.     Seeing The Light…

    Since I’m still up, oh boy, let’s get a quick post in. Well, I’ll have to say that I’m beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I’ve got only one project I’ll be working on this week. I’m hoping to have that finished up by weeks end. The next step will be to take a break and just be social. I had a good time tonight visiting with some friends that were in town. Darren’s Mom & step Dad live right across the street. I’m going to have to plan a trip to visit them this spring. I didn’t get a chance to play with little Dane, so there’s another reason to visit.     Dear Family and Friends, You may have already heard, but I wanted to let you know that Kjirsti and I have a new son! Owan Ryan Nilsen was born on January 28, 2006, at 12:47am, and weighed 6 lbs., 12 oz., 20 inches. He is a good size, but came five weeks early Kjirsti went into labor around 10:00pm on Friday, January 27, and gave birth to Owan at 12:47am on Saturday, January 28. He appeared on the scene really fast! The delivery went fine, and the doctor and nurses took care of Owan and watched his vital signs to make sure he was adjusting to his new environment.
