Another Day of Wireless…
Well, today I was working a lot with tweaking the wireless setup on the laptops. I was able to get them to authenticate and login to the domain all wirelessly. Only problem is this was through the IBM ThinkPad wireless configuration tool. I need to figure out how to configure this via straight Windows XP. Then the next step is can a Mac do this? Phil is connected via wireless in his iMac. And it would be good if it could do the same thing. More Googling and research.Been A Long Time
I haven’t posted on here for so long I’m sure no one is following me anymore. It’s crazy to think that there was a time when I was posting like everyday, sometimes twice. Things are of course different now. I think the thing is that when I was posting before it was all about what was going on in my life. Now my life is not just me but my wife also. I think if I put myself out here, I’m taking her along with me, and I don’t want that. The other problem seems to be finding the time. There are just a lot more important things, like my wife, than blogging. I do try to post little updates on my Facebook or Twitter,…
Being The Kind Of Man God Calls Me To Be
During this past year I’ve been focusing my devotion time on studying about the kind of man, husband, father, that God wants me to be. This is a daily challenge to say the least. Bible.com has a bunch of good devotionals of varying lengths with this focus. I just finished day 15 of the @YouVersion Plan Man Up. Check it out here: http://bible.com/r/9OFull Days…
So I didn’t really get off to a good start this morning. Basically my whole sleeping schedule has been thrown off. Tomorrow I will be forcing myself to get up when the alarm goes off. The day turned out pretty excellent however. The Bible study I had with a couple of youth guys really revealed a wrong attitude I had about the weekend coming up. I find it can be frustrating to see people treat others with such disrespect, especially when we are talking about Christians. I guess it is easy to hold Christians up to a higher standard. This is right and wrong. While we should expect Christian to be doing what’s right in the eyes of the Lord, we also need to show…What’s The Latest?
Well, so what ever happened to the daily wisdom that I would bring to this thing they call the internet or blog-o-sphere? Well, sometimes life just makes a lot of demands on our time that we just can’t do anything about. Today I managed to finally get the new Faith & Fellowship Bookstore website online. This has been a long awaited task. There are some features that still need to be put in place but things changed along the way that will cause those things to require a different approach. On the personal front, things between Vanessa and I got all straightened out Monday night. It was a rather mixed up mess that we got ourselves in but it was definitely a growing point in…- Apple / Daily Thoughts / Games / iTunes
Apple’s Makin Me Angry, Help Comes to the Rescue!
Ok, so I’ve been a little frustrated with the new iTunes. I’ve actually reverted back to the previous version. It took some hunting to actually find the old installer. I decided to help others out who also wanted to go back to 4.9 and I posted the instructions that worked for me along with a link to the file I’ve got hosted on my website. Well the powers that be overseeing the Apple discussions sent me a notification that my post had been removed. Then I reposted and it was quitely removed without any notification. What irritates me is that there was no clear reason why it was removed. Well I posted a third time and didn’t include the link to my download site. Not…
