The Groundhog Marathon – Another Marathon In The Books
Despite the rough training I stuck it out and participated in another Groundhog Marathon. The first half went well, but the second half not so much. It was a challenge but I finished. It was a joy to represent #HWI and I had a lot of “Hope Water” shout-outs along the 2ay. #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRGus
Last Run Before Sierra Leone
I really didn’t want to get up this morning but I wanted to get 1 more run in before heading to #SierraLeone #Africa tomorrow. However, as I continue to learn God is in the business of changing lives, and he’s sure working to change me. Every day I see areas that I…
Getting Back In The Saddle After Marathon Recovery
Finally got out this morning for my first run since the marathon. Doing a reverse taper, doing the training plan in reverse, as a way to ease back in. Felt great to be out there again, despite the cold and rain. #HWI
