A Run Focusing On The Physical Needs Of Others
Had a sluggish start this morning, but I pushed myself and got things improved my the end of my run. I did miss most of the rain, just got caught in some sprinkles during the last quarter mile. Most of my focus though was on those I know that have physical needs, including our Enable The Children sponsored child. It seems that the physical needs in our world almost match that of the spiritual need. And yet we see time and again that God uses those physical needs to bring people into relationship with Him. On Saturday I was up at 4:15am to get my 11 miles in before family time. It was a great morning for a long run with my running partner John. It was nice to have him help me keep a better pace throughout the run which actually resulted in an even better finish, both in pace and how I felt. Sometimes accountability it the best thing to keep you in track.
