    Just A Short Test Run

Today, was a fitness level test run, 5 minute warm-up/cool down and 12 minutes of high intensity running. The intensity of these runs make it hard to think about much, though I still enjoyed the worship workout music. There are 2 albums that I typically rotate between. https://play.google.com/music/m/Byaqvq4noj2wsy5bnnjrd7gxlxy?t=50_Christian_Running_Cardio_Workout_-_CWH https://play.google.com/music/m/Bu5tpzv5jynip3tjpxndsh7t56m?t=Christian_Workout_50_Best_Music_Hits_Running_Cardio_-_Christian_Workout_Hits_Group These are my go-to music selection for running. I enjoy having some worship time during my runs to help me start off with God. #RiverBankRun

Early Tuesday Morning Training Run For Clean Water

It’s a strange thing comparing your hot midday run to your cool early morning. I would have thought that I was going to knock my pace out of the park this morning but alas no. I have to believe that my lack of rest last night was a major contributor. The interesting thing was seeing my heart rate drop to the low to mid 130s during miles 5 & 6. I can only attribute that to my shower pace during those miles while I was pretty focused on prayer for family, friends, and those needing water in Sierra Leone, like the village of #Ronkorhun. I’m hoping to find those one again that are willing to partner with me to bring clean water to Africa as…
  • Ode To The Night…

Well, here it is almost 11 at night and I’m wide awake, well sort of. I really should have been getting ready for bed an hour ago. When you become a night owl it sure is hard to change. Well let’s recap some of the week a little. I’ve had some interesting conversations this week. I have to say God has really been speaking to me this week, of course He tends to do that when you’re diving in the Word. Also He has been bring about opportunities for me that I just didn’t think were out there. I’ll be joining a group going through Life Shapes on Sundays, tomorrow I’ll be heading to Fargo for a get together at Holly Hanson’s, not sure who…

Still Running, Starting A New Plan

I have still been running but just haven’t taken the time to post about them. I ran 13.1 miles last Saturday and around 7 Miles on Tuesday, I did take a break Monday in order to get some extra sleep after a late night. This morning I had another interval training run this morning that kicked my but, however I still ended with more miles then estimated so I it was not all bad. I had actually started a new training plan since my 15K at the River Bank Run isn’t happen. No sense in building up my distance when there isn’t actually a race to run. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun

    In The Beginning

(John 1:1-14) – John starts out describing a little about what the beginning was like. The Word was another name given to Jesus. It’s interesting that John starts out this way. It is very clear that the importance is placed on this description to setup the rest of the book. Jesus claimed he was God, was equal with God. The very fact that he also had the name of the Word and that these verses explain exactly was Jesus claimed is not insignificant. Jesus Christ always was and is equal to God the Father & God the Holy Spirit. John 1:12, this is a very popular verse. It explains the truth that all those that believe in Christ and follow Him become apart of God’s…

    When God Calls for Patience…

I’ve been caught up tonight in some major Google searching. “For what” you may ask, “where is God leading me?”. The realm of my searching was community of faith, postmodern youth outreach, and reading some about the idea of the emergent church. What does this all mean? I have no clue. I feel an urgency to move (not just location), and for making great changes in my life. I’m searching to find out what’s next. I’m finding that perhaps God is calling me also to be patient and let Him reveal this change to me in His time. I kind of feel like it’s a bit cruel to be called in such a way but then asked to wait. I know, of course God is…
