Between work, our new house moving, serving at Daybreak, and training for the Fifth Third River Bank Run I’m being pulled and challenged and it’s easy to feel like giving up on any one of those. Wow, that is all I can say about the weather this morning on my run. Between the freezing rain pelting me, the massive wind gusts, and the snow-covered sidewalks that reduced my traction to almost zero, let’s just say I felt like I ran 12 miles not just shy of 6. I laugh because today was supposed to be an easy run day, and with that pace you might think I took it slow but that wasn’t really what went down.
