Starting Another Week With An Early Morning 3 Miles
I am more than willing to endure some discomfort, and tough days, if it means making water available to a village in Africa. Something that can mean the difference between life and death. #HWI #KCC #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRHalfMarathon #RiverBankRun
A Little Farther, A Little Slower
This morning was really not even a full mile farther than Tuesday. Things were a little slower today but that’s just fine, it was still a good solid run. I really need to start working on a new training plan soon. I’ll have to wait to start a new training plan until I’m back I the swing of things after my surgery next week. I’m hoping that I don’t have to take too much of a break from running after my surgery, but we’ll see what happens. I’m still in the fence on whether I’ll be running the full marathon again this year or if I’ll be scaling back to the half marathon. I’ll have to make a final decision once I’ve recovered from my…

Devotions for Sacred Parenting – Day 7: A Season of Sacrifice
“Our kids, by their existence, make a legitimate spiritual claim on our time, our money, and our focus.” – Devotions for Sacred Parenting by Gary L. Our time is too short with our kids, and there will be years ahead when we will have all kinds of time to pursue other things. 10 Mile Hard Run, In More Ways Than One
It was a real struggle to do 10 miles this morning after coming down with a cold and missing a training run. The first half was pretty good but the second half was a big push. I only got caught in a little bit of rain at the 7 mile mark so it was actually refreshing. Donate to Water, to Life – https://timn.me/2t9D4ne I did spend much of the second half of my run paying for those God prompted me to pray for. That also included prayer for Alimamy and his family, our ETC sponsored child in Sierra Leone. #HWI #GRMarathon #Run4Water #WaterIsLife #WhyIRun
Getting in an Easy Tuesday Run Back Home, After a Hard Monday Campground Run

Putting In Some Miles On A Crisp Tuesday Morning
This morning I opted to run without the cleats, since I could see that the sidewalks looked to be mostly cleared. Unless there is snow covering the sidewalks the cleats just don’t feel very comfortable to run in. It was a nice easy run, listening to some worship workout music: Christian Workout – 50 Best Music Hits Running & Cardio #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #RBR
