Got another #PR today, for a #10K this time. Two PRs in a few days feels great but ultimately I have thanks to God for giving me the ability to get here. I’ve also been making it a point of trying to spend time during my runs with Him. #HWI #HessLakeRun #Run4Water #training #GRMarathon

Back In The High [Intensity] Life Again

After a brief hiatus on Tuesday, no thanks to a cold and a bad nights rest, I was back out for my early morning run. I really had my butt kicked with a high intensity interval run. I think my only slight advantage was have a previous week of out of the park fast runs. I could sure tell that I had missed a day of running though. Regardless of how tough it might have been it still felt good to be back out running. On Tuesday when I didn’t get out for my run the whole day seemed off. I’m not sure how I’m going to get my Saturday run in with being out of town in a trip to Chicago. We’ll see. #HWI…

Picking Up The Pace With The Snow Cleared

With things warming up yesterday the roads and sidewalks got cleared pretty well. I was able to hit my interval training run paces quite easily. Looking back on the tough training week, I think it was actually a good thing in terms of getting an extra hard without to prepare me for today. I only have a couple of runs left in the training plan before the marathon next week, then it’ll be on to the #RBR 25K training. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun
