Life is Grand…
Well, I was doing some chatting with a good friend online earlier today. It kind of came to mind that it would appear my life is consumed with eHarmony and my quest to find that special someone. Anyways, of course this is not all that encompasses my life. There is more, here is what I said earlier: I was just thinking to myself that I haven’t been very diligent in writing in my blog what God has been teaching me, there is really more going on for me spiritually than what is seen in my blog. God has been teaching me a lot through my reading and having daily time with Him. This eHarmony/relationship thing has really been a smaller part of my life, even…
A Tough Tuesday Training Run
I could tell from the start that it was going to be a tough run. I even made a point of going to bed early the night before, because I was going to need to be up by 3:45am to get my 11 mile done at a decent time. Would You Rather…Run In 90 Degree Heat Or A Foot Of Snow?
There wasn’t a foot of snow this morning, it was probably more like 6 inches, but it still made for a tough go of it as you still need good traction to move. I almost wiped out on a slick spots in the Family Faire parking lot towards the end of my run. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRGus In regards to “would you rather”, my preference is winter running over hot summer running any day. It’s significantly easier getting yourself warmed up by running than it is to get cooled down. Then again it does matter what weather conditions you might expect for any race you plan on running. Given I’ll be running the Groundhog Marathon at the beginning of February the more terrible winter runs…
