Cabinet Remodel, Finishing The Doors

Today I needed to finish up cutting down the cabinet doors, the last part needed to make room for the microwave above the stove. I got the table saw out for the first time since selling our house almost 2 years ago. It’s been sitting in storage. I got them cut down by chopping the tops off. Then I used my father-in-law’s router to get the cabinet edge trimmed so they fit in the new reduced opening.

I’ll be honest the sanding, mudding, and painting things are my least favorite thing to do. Anytime I get to build something new, or fix something, that’s when I have the most fun with these remodeling projects. I’ll be finishing out the day with the not so fun stuff.

    A Little Life Update…

    Well, I have to say that life is still kind of up and down for me. I’m beginning to realize that being busy is probably in my nature. As I think back to my high school and college days, I remember being a pretty active guy. And to think I have shy tendencies, lol.     Night Owls Unite…

    So yeah, I think I’ll forever be a night owl. Seems like no matter what I can get myself to bed early at all. Of course this makes it almost impossible to get up early in the morning. You’ll notice I didn’t get me devotions in this morning, er rather yesterday seeing as it’s already tomorrow. If there weren’t things going on so close to 5 I’d just get into work by 9 in the morning and work later. Well perhaps after this weekend we’ll giver a go again. So yeah, works been crazy as usual. Looks like I may have like 3 website jobs coming my way too. Jim & Ginny have been spreading the word. I’m grateful but I just don’t know how…

    Quick One Tonight…

    Ok, long story short I’m in a little hot water as I’m behind in the website job. Technically the contract they signed covers my butt, however it’s looking like I don’t have enough time for these types of side jobs. The day was pretty good, but too many things to do, this partly due to the problems with one of the servers. Ended up being no praise team practise as too many couldn’t make it. It was alright though cause I could work on the website project and get my music together for tomorrow.
