Starting The Day With God

Whatever you’ve done and whatever you face, turn to God first, each morning. Give him your day, and then allow him to guide each step.

Something that I’ve tried to stick to for years is to start my day off with having time with God. I can’t say it always happens, or that it’s always the quality time it should be. We all need time to focus on God, and what better time than first thing in the morning to get our day’s focus in the right place first.

    Catching Up…

    Well I feel like I’ve been really disconnected over the past few days. It’s kind of crazy how your life can feel likes it’s fallen apart when you don’t have internet. Ok, so my life didn’t fall apart, but I was at a loss of what to do. I guess it got me going to bed a bit earlier. My biggest issue was not being able to blog.     Isaiah 6:1-7, this morning I’m feeling very OK with my openness on my blog. I’m also once again thankful for Bruce’s comments to me yesterday. Today’s topic of truth talked about how as people we tend to sugar-coat the truth or complete lie with people. It is so easy for us to be shallow, and “nice Christians” that would do say the hard things that count. God of course is nothing like that and shares with us the complete honest truth, whether hard to hear or not.
