Another Recent IM Session . . .

Tim: I just feel like the world today is just destroying our youth
Cassie: that and not alot of ppl are covering them in prayer…they just call it “humanity problems” and ignore it
Tim: yes
Tim: this issue of moral relativism (sry for the big words) is getting worse by the day
Cassie: it really is
Cassie: we need to start making just praying for these kids a deal every day instead of just waiting until one kid blows up with problems
Tim: yes
Tim: absolutely
Tim: I’m starting to see also, how it seems moral relativism is creeping into the Christian community also
Cassie: definitely
Tim: don’t get me wrong, I’m not a legalist by any means…
Tim: but God’s truth is firm, it’s not wishy-washy
Cassie: hey i believe that 100%
Tim: His truth is also compassionate…and I think we are not clear on how compassion comes into it…I think we distort compassion with tolerance.

    So now my special someone is all the buzz with those that know me. Everyone wants to hear more about how things went, and what the scoop is. I even got asked did you get engaged.     Garbage In, Garbage Out…Life Is Work

    To get good things out of your life, you have to first put good things in. [W]e don’t have a magic hat that allows us to pull something out of nothing. The positive character traits we seek can only result from a daily commitment to prioritize actions and decisions that please the Lord. I don’t know if it’s our American culture, our sinful nature, or something else entirely, but it seems that more often than not we want everything to be easy with little work or effort required.     What God Brings…

    It has been a few days since my last update. I think I should now be able to have more regular updates as I finally have internet access at my place, and my wireless is up and running. It’s not that I couldn’t post from Vanessa’s, that’s where the last one was posted from, I’ve just had a lot of other things to do during the day, and my best posting time is usually at night. If I’m at Vanessa’s in the evening we are usually spending time together, well I guess we’ve been spending just about all our evenings together.     So What’s My Problem?

    In short, life, more specific, work. So as it grinds on even later in the evening I just felt I needed to get back to this things called blogging. So obviously the daily anecdotes of my life haven’t made their way to this space in cyber-space much. When life get’s crazy you have to take a hard look at what you are spending your time on. I have days that I wish I wasn’t so willing to do things for people. It’s in my nature to give, and give, and give, and give until I’ve got nothing left for me.
