Another Day, Another Dollar…

Well another day gone. I didn’t feel like I got as much done today as I wanted, but that always seems to be the case. I didn’t even make it to any breaks today. Nothing too special went on today other than the normal Tuesday/Thursday work. Got an exciting email today. Moe Gifts had it’s first sale today! It was someone in Virginia. Don’t kow how they found the site. The site tracker I installed doesn’t seem to be giving very accurate results. My hope is that some of the link exchange work I did is how they got there. It could have also been from the site review requests I posted on either the ChristianWebHost or OSCommerce forums. Either way hopefully this is just the beginning. I’d really like to see the site take off for them. They really want to get to a point of at least breaking even, and then of course to where there making a profit. As I think about it now I should pickup something there for Becky & Peter’s wedding. I should be able get an idea of what they want by using the online Target registry.

I did a little more work on the blog site. Got some more links up & moved some things around. I think I’m going to stick with WordPress after all. It seems to be robust enough for my needs. I tech savy enough that I don’t need a dummy friendly system. Not to say that WP would be hard for the average person to use. The only problem is the admin organization. It took me a little bit to get orientated to it. I’m very interested to perhaps make some contacts to find out what other more technically challenged people might be using.

Well, I need to get my laundry done so I can head to my parents tomorrow. I tell you my nights seem to fly by. I didn’t get any of my calls made. I’ve got to be the king of the procrastinators. Well until tomorrow…

    Odd Holiday Week, Real Healthy Living Test

    This was a strange Holiday season with the timing of how Christmas and New Years fell, day-of-the-week wise. We had to celebrate our own Christmas a couple of days early and then traveled over the Holidays. Neither Christmas or New Years has felt like it was actually happening. We’ll still be celebrating Christmas with my in-laws in the next week.   • Listening to Your Children

    How often are we “too busy” to listen to our children? How often do we let our personal agendas, attitudes, or being tired let us get frustrated and angry with our children? I’m sure that we all have our moments. And I’m pretty sure we’ve all had to deal with frustrating people in our lives, other than our children. If we want to have a relationship with our children that has a solid foundation then we need to do more but listening and curb the frustration and anger.     What God Brings…

    It has been a few days since my last update. I think I should now be able to have more regular updates as I finally have internet access at my place, and my wireless is up and running. It’s not that I couldn’t post from Vanessa’s, that’s where the last one was posted from, I’ve just had a lot of other things to do during the day, and my best posting time is usually at night.     Devotions this morning says, as Christians, we should not be thinking “I can’t”, at least in following God’s direction. This is so very true, Jesus pointed out what little faith we have, and how little faith it takes to even move a mountain. I think of the times I have thought, “I just can’t do this”, because of circumstances in my life. Shame on me if I’m failing to follow God’s leading.     Just A Short One

    Well, here I am in the wee hours of the night. So the pleasant act of IMing and playing music caught me up tonight. I pretty much got my taxes done, and it looks like a good tax return. Too bad I have debt, I go out any buy one of them fancy 5G iPods, 🙂 Well, I’m hoping in the next couple of years to have all the small debt paid off.
