Another Day, Another Dollar…

Well another day gone. I didn’t feel like I got as much done today as I wanted, but that always seems to be the case. I didn’t even make it to any breaks today. Nothing too special went on today other than the normal Tuesday/Thursday work. Got an exciting email today. Moe Gifts had it’s first sale today! It was someone in Virginia. Don’t kow how they found the site. The site tracker I installed doesn’t seem to be giving very accurate results. My hope is that some of the link exchange work I did is how they got there. It could have also been from the site review requests I posted on either the ChristianWebHost or OSCommerce forums. Either way hopefully this is just the beginning. I’d really like to see the site take off for them. They really want to get to a point of at least breaking even, and then of course to where there making a profit. As I think about it now I should pickup something there for Becky & Peter’s wedding. I should be able get an idea of what they want by using the online Target registry.

I did a little more work on the blog site. Got some more links up & moved some things around. I think I’m going to stick with WordPress after all. It seems to be robust enough for my needs. I tech savy enough that I don’t need a dummy friendly system. Not to say that WP would be hard for the average person to use. The only problem is the admin organization. It took me a little bit to get orientated to it. I’m very interested to perhaps make some contacts to find out what other more technically challenged people might be using.

Well, I need to get my laundry done so I can head to my parents tomorrow. I tell you my nights seem to fly by. I didn’t get any of my calls made. I’ve got to be the king of the procrastinators. Well until tomorrow…

    Well, today I got one more project off the list, YES! I kind of waivered between my final project and the Faith Shaping project today.     Where’s The Line…Freedom in Christ or Good Witness

    (1 Corinthians 14:13-25) In my devotion time today, Paul was again talking to the church in Corinth about matters of witness to unbelievers and escentially the freedom found in Christ. The problem for the early church, and I would say that this problem has not gone away, was that for the unbelievers (or even weak or new in faith) there were things that they didn’t understand which easily turned them off to Christianity. The hard part comes in that God has called us, as Christians, to be different than this world.     Apple’s Makin Me Angry, Help Comes to the Rescue!

    Ok, so I’ve been a little frustrated with the new iTunes. I’ve actually reverted back to the previous version. It took some hunting to actually find the old installer. I decided to help others out who also wanted to go back to 4.9 and I posted the instructions that worked for me along with a link to the file I’ve got hosted on my website. Well the powers that be overseeing the Apple discussions sent me a notification that my post had been removed. Then I reposted and it was quitely removed without any notification.     So it would seem that I really lost touch with my blog. I wouldn’t be surprised if no reads the thing anymore, although I do know that some have you have bugged me about it. So what’s my excuse?     Well, today has been an interesting one. It started with the guys not showing up at Perkins this morning. Oh well, I understand it’s early for them. We’ll work something out on Wednesday. My day at work was pretty good. I got a lot done. I had a good chat with Ginny over IM during lunch. She knew I was going to Grease on Sunday. She got on my case about somethings, I won’t mention them here, LOL. After work I headed off to Ronnevik’s to fix their computer.     Women’s Roles in Church

    (1 Corinthians 14:26-40) So as read the topic title for my devotions this morning I thought “Ah, something good today about worship”, but as I got to the third paragraph I couldn’t believe what I was reading. This is what is says: “(33b) As in all the congregations of the saints, (34) women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says.
