Switchfoot Fights DRM!

In a story the came out earlier this week. One of the band members of Switchfoot was expressing his anger about the DRM the was put on their latest album. The DRM encoded albums were preventing people from ripping the CDs for use on portable medai players. He was posting instructions on how to circumvent the DRM. Well Sony & EMI have announced that they are recalling the CDs and replacing them. EMI says that it was a mistake. Let’s give it up for Switchfoot!

As it was being read I instantly began remembering my experience at the Sunday morning service in Kathirie. As I watched the church members give the morning offerings, giving not only to the general offering but also to a building fund and missions, I could only think about the amazing work God was doing in the village.

    Being Social…Fun Stuff!

    So, not a lot to report on today. I’m feeling a need a little bit more time in the morning to get going. If I would get myself to bed at a decent time it would help, hopefully I’ll accomplish that tonight. Got into work and started working on website stuff. I pretty much worked on website stuff all day. I had a meeting with Church Services and we’re getting realy close with the new bookstore website. I’m hoping perhaps by Christmas, maybe even the end of this month, we’ll see.     So yeah, it was a beautiful day for a picnic. It was a little windy but not bad. Maplewood is a very nice park, may have to mention it to Chad as a possible place for the next camping trip.     (John 15:1-17) Whether we choose to accept it or not, as Christians we are all called to be disciples. We are not only to believe in Him, but follow Him also. At times it would seem that we can take the easy route as a Christian.     Catching Up…

    Well I feel like I’ve been really disconnected over the past few days. It’s kind of crazy how your life can feel likes it’s fallen apart when you don’t have internet. Ok, so my life didn’t fall apart, but I was at a loss of what to do. I guess it got me going to bed a bit earlier. My biggest issue was not being able to blog.
