Switchfoot Fights DRM!

In a story the came out earlier this week. One of the band members of Switchfoot was expressing his anger about the DRM the was put on their latest album. The DRM encoded albums were preventing people from ripping the CDs for use on portable medai players. He was posting instructions on how to circumvent the DRM. Well Sony & EMI have announced that they are recalling the CDs and replacing them. EMI says that it was a mistake. Let’s give it up for Switchfoot!

    Well, I finaly made it up early today, and I had my time with God. What an incredible difference that makes. I feel like I got a lot accomplished today at work.     Unfortunate News…

    So I didn’t get a blog entry in yesterday. Oh well, not much went on. I spent a good portion of the day trying to work out wireless issues. I won’t go into the details, however, ended up spending time today working on it too. I guess it’s back to the drawing board on this one. I’m going to need to do some more research into this. So I got two rather unfortunate emails today, both from my Mom. She’s going to be leaving our home church and finding a new church.     A Little Life Update…

    Well, I have to say that life is still kind of up and down for me. I’m beginning to realize that being busy is probably in my nature. As I think back to my high school and college days, I remember being a pretty active guy. And to think I have shy tendencies, lol. I would have to say I’m far from being the guy in the middle, I’m the guy that is at both extremes at the same time. What and interesting combination that brings, lol.     Life Without Internet…Thursday

    Thursday was an ok day at work. I really didn’t feel like I was able to keep on task as well as I would have liked. I was able to make some progress on the CLB site, integrating the forums into the homepage. I also got to talking with Todd about the whole blogging thing. He had setup himself with a Blogger.com blog. I offered to host a WordPress blog for him, then we got on the sunject of creating a CLB Blog site. Not sure how much of a demand there might be for this. I think it might be cool if Synod Staff & Pastors had blogs through the CLB. I didn’t get out of work till like 6. I decided to take…
