Switchfoot Fights DRM!

In a story the came out earlier this week. One of the band members of Switchfoot was expressing his anger about the DRM the was put on their latest album. The DRM encoded albums were preventing people from ripping the CDs for use on portable medai players. He was posting instructions on how to circumvent the DRM. Well Sony & EMI have announced that they are recalling the CDs and replacing them. EMI says that it was a mistake. Let’s give it up for Switchfoot!

  • Blog Design Changes…

    So I have done some design changes on my blog. I’ve customized it more away from the canned templated I was using. I’m not using an original panoramic photo for my header. I’ve also got the new photo gallery integrated a bit better. I’ve also added the ability to use avatars, that would be little pictures to represent yourself. I’ve even signed up for and allow the use of gravatars. Well, of course, busy-busy it has been. Not much of my life has been posted as of late.     Quick…New Calendar

    Thx Google for all the neat tools they keep pumping out. I’m now using Google Calendar slightly integrated into my blog. Should work ok. I’m feeling the itch to get back into blogging and podcasting…we’ll see what the schedule brings. I’m also thinking it might be time for a WordPress upgrade and site redesign/makeover. I may even go so far as bridge the gap between my blog site on the Tim blog. Perhaps I’ll bring the designs of the two inline with each other and distribute the content logically between them as well. We’ll see what I feel like doing, let alone have time for. I’ve been feeling for some time that my blog site really kind of got out of hand with so much…

  • Wow, Shortest Post Ever…

    Ok, so what a day. I wish I had the time to write all that I wanted, but off to bed I go, already late. Quick recap, woke up with a terrible cold (blah), great day at work, wonderful time at praise team practice (this is going to be a great group of youth to work with, we might even get good enough to lead on a Sunday), and well no new news from Apple. Busy day tomorrow with youth group, should be a good one! Chow All!
