    When Life Get’s Busy, When Life Get’s Complicated

    Well, it’s almost the end of the month, but getting a post in now will still technically meet my hope of once a month right.     What Has Today Brought?

    I’d haveto say that all-in-all it was a decent day. I would have preferred to get a bit farther along in my data-entry, I spent a good portion of the day generating mailing lists. I would have to say that about the best parts of today were getting up early and having some good devotion time and breakfast before I headed off to work. I think both of those things have proven to make my mornings more productive. This evening wasn’t too bad. I didn’t get quite as much accomplished tonight as I had hoped but I did manage to have a rather tasty steak and potato supper, I also began creating an actual budget I hope to be sticking by.     The Keyword is “Since” Not “If”

    As a follow up to my previous post it’s important that we remember that everything we are called to do as a Christ follower is in the context of “since” and not “if”. What’s the difference? If we have the thinking, “if someone is doing ‘x’, or not doing ‘y’, they can’t be a believer”, we are basically inferring that someone has no faith or belief in Christ because of their actions. That’s a pretty big leap, and a sure fire way to further the view that Christians are righteous, judgemental, hippacrits, essentially modern day Pharisees.     Being More Social?

    Well, I would say that basically I’m pretty social when it comes to being a geek. I can talk about more than just geeky stuff but give me someone that’s interested and I can definately talk geek. This is probably do to the fact that I listen to a ton of geek Podcasts. This reminds me that I need to put up some links to my Podcast favorites. I should really look at some other genres to add to my Podcast subscription list. Perhaps broaden my horizon a little. I do subscribe to a few of Christian podcasts and the President’s weekly radio address.

    Wasteful Weekends, Geeks…Gotta Love Em

    So yeah, I pretty much wasted the weekend away again. Not totally, but I could have done a lot more than I did. I guess I sort of get tired of doing stuff, like work, all the time and want some time to just kick back and relax. I’m feeling like I’m kind of spinning my wheels with the web job. I really like to nail down the site design before I do the custom programming stuff. The problem is they’ve given me hardly anything to work with. Well Monday will have to be a big day to work on getting stuff going. I guess I’m going to worry less about the design and make sure the funcitonality is all there. So yeah, not much…
