    When Storms Test Your Faith

    I can honestly say that both my wife and I are going through some difficult storms in our lives right now. Many days come that cause me to have no option but to trust that God has it handled even though I feel like things are out of control and falling down all around me. I can say that I have still seen God come through, especially in the case of my Mom’s seizure, brain surgery, and recovery. I don’t know when the “other side” of all this will be seen but I know God is bigger than me.

    Thankful During The Storms

If we would only take time to be be thankful, and to show appreciation for others, lifr would look very different I suspect.   • Listening to Your Children

    How often are we “too busy” to listen to our children? How often do we let our personal agendas, attitudes, or being tired let us get frustrated and angry with our children? I’m sure that we all have our moments. And I’m pretty sure we’ve all had to deal with frustrating people in our lives, other than our children. If we want to have a relationship with our children that has a solid foundation then we need to do more but listening and curb the frustration and anger.     For Christians, Climate Change Should Be No Surprise

    Your Will Be Done…

    So I’ve been lying in my bed restless, and this after taking night-time cold medicine, for the last 2 hours. Before I layed down I spent a good long while reading some scripture, some devotionals, and another book. I’m feeling right now that all I want for my life is to be doing what God wants me to be doing and going where He wants me to go. I don’t know what this mean for my future. I’ve had a million possible actions run through my head, from continuing on with where and what I’m doing, to up and moving to even another country and doing something. I’m beginning to feel an urgency. I’m thinking this is what has been causing all my restless nights…
