    Seeking God’s Direction When Looking Out On The Horizon

      Both my wife an I are going through a low point where neither of us feels we have clear direction on where we are headed. Specifically, where and how we are to be serving. I thought I had some clear direction but a week ago that all seemed to change. I’m finding myself questioning a lot of things right now.     Ok, so today was a pretty excellent day. It’s amazing that God can be so good to us despite our downfalls. Well, this morning I found out something pretty crazy. One of my matches on eHarmony just happens to be someone that I at least know of. I can’t recall actually meeting her at anytime. The thing of it is that I have worked with her sister. And I know her Dad. She’s not a paying member of eHarmony but that’s just fine. We’ve already started to chat a little on MSN. I don’t know where this will lead if anywhere.   • First Work Morning, in the New Place…

    So really yesterday was my first morning waking up in my new home, however this is the first morning that my work morning routine begins to take shape (at least until we return from our honeymoon). I’m going to have to keep this short for now. These past couple of weeks, and now this week, have been amazing for my morning devotions.     For me as a Christian, it seems that one of the things I struggle with most is leaving things in God’s hands. I don’t know if part of my struggle is because I’m a man, and I feel the uncontrollable urge to fix things and have eveything planned out. When I don’t know God’s plan, and how can any of us know it really, I realize I fall into the sin of worry.
