    The semi-circle, working from rest, following your purpose, and bringing calm to life. It seems nearly impossible to not get caught up in the crazy & busy world we live in. Even in ministry there seems to more things to do, or that could be done, then there is time. None of these things are bad, and it feels like they are so important.     (1 Corinthians 14:26-40) So as read the topic title for my devotions this morning I thought “Ah, something good today about worship”, but as I got to the third paragraph I couldn’t believe what I was reading. This is what is says: “(33b) As in all the congregations of the saints, (34) women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says.     God’s Timing…Not Ours

    (Exodus 11:1-10) Looking again at the story of Moses being used by God to bring the Isrealites out of Egypt, we can see that things didn’t go as the people, or Moses, had hoped. God, however, had a perfect plan in mind. I’ve talked about it before, but once again I am reminded, that in all things God has a plan for us. I really like both Proverbs 19:21 and also Proverbs 16:9, they both make it very clear that even though we may have something in mind, it’s ultimately God who is in control.
