It was a cold snowy run this morning, and it was another tough one for me. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GroundhogMarathon
Knocked out our 12 mile training run this morning. Made it just over 8 miles before hitting the rain. Got it done and on to the day. #HWI #GRMarathon #Run4Water
Wow, what a great 20 mile training run today. That may sound crazy but with the cool weather and the great company of Harvey, Jason, and John it made for a good time. I can definitely tell I ran 20 miles, a little over actually, but I feel very good. If I can tackle the coming 26.2 mile marathon in the next few weeks like today I should be able to finish in a much better state than last year. I still need some more partners for my #HWI fundraiser. Remember your contribution will be doubled with our our matching funds. #HWI #GRMarathon #WaterIsLife #Run4Water #WhyIRun Donate Now – https://timn.me/2t9D4ne
This is what #Run4Water means to me, what my commitment is about. My drive comes from wanting to see these children grow up knowing that there is hope for a better future. #HWI #WhyIRun #GRMarathon #SierraLeone

Another half marathon in the books with my running partner. Felt great to be out there on the trails again. #HWI #GRMarathon #Run4Water Walker, Michigan, United States of America
Sporting the Slip n Slide 5K shirt on my training run this morning. It was a hot one at 5am, I can’t imagine doing my run later today. Running in the heat took me back to our short 3 mile run in Freetown #SierraLeone and remembering #WhyIRun for those in need. I was blessed to have 2 fresh bottles of water available to me while I ran. That is a luxury not found by many in Sierra Leone. #HWI #HessLakeRun #GRMarathon #Run4Water Hudsonville, Michigan, United States of America
