    Embracing The Winter Run

    It may be getting colder and beginning to snow but it’s perfectly fine with me. I’m not sure if it’s the Minnesotan in me that allows me to continue with my running through the winter months, but I’m glad that I can stay active and not just stuck inside all winter. I enjoyed getting a report on all the wells our #HWI team helped raise money for last year. It’s pretty amazing to hear how much of an impact we are making.     Prequel To The Groundhog Day Marathon?

    It was a tough run this morning the snow covered sidewalks and pathways really took their tole the further I got into my run. On top of that my CamelBak nozzle froze up and couldn’t get any water for a good portion of the second half of my run. What was supposed to be a 17 mile run ended up being only a 15 mile run. I had my mask on to help cover my face from the wind, which I’m so thankful I had decided to that otherwise my face probably would have been frozen.
