Some days you just feel great out there running and some days you don’t. Today was the latter, but it was still intense, and I was really pushing myself. It’s days like today that I actually appreciate those hard days where it feels like you are barely moving and all you can think of is, “Am I there yet?”. I appreciate those days because I know that without those days, and overcoming them, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I also know that especially on those days God was right there with me walking(sometimes literally) by my side helping me every step of the way. In the U.S. we have access to many things that we end up just taking for granted. And it’s not a matter of doing something wrong it’s just what we are used to. When a village receives a well it is a big celebration of thankfulness. I really didn’t want to get up this morning but I wanted to get 1 more run in before heading to #SierraLeone #Africa tomorrow. Despite having to drag myself out of bed I got another #PR for farthest distance in 1 hour, not bad.
