The torsion spring winding today I ordered from Amazon arrived today so I got to work removing the old broken spring in order to measure so I could order the new one. Found some great detailed instructions on replacing and measuring the spring. Hopefully I can get the right spring ordered and get this garage door fixed so we can have out garage stall back. This morning I really just ran to the worship music and went at the pace that felt comfortable. I’m pretty blown away to see how much I improved my pace in just a couple of weeks, where I finished with a 9:50 min/mi pace. I think the most enjoyable part of my run this morning was just being pleasantly surprised by the next worship song. When the next song came on I just got into a zone of focusing on the music and running in time with it. I loved it. Yesterday, was the #HWI annual 5K group run, though this year it was “virtual” since we can’t gather yet. It’s definitely not the same to just gather for a video call and then run on your own. Missing hearing the bells ring as I cross the finish line.
