Battling The Chunky Snow Covered Sidewalks

Had a short easy run this morning, except for the snowplow covered sidewalks. I’m thankful for those that actually got out and cleared their sidewalks. Listening to worship music while I ran was good to my mind focused on why I run. Today is #GivingTuesday and there are matching funds available when giving to #HWI so I hope many take advantage of the opportunity to double their giving. Also, I did register for the #GroundhogDayMarathon so I’d love to have the support of people to help me reach that final $2000 goal. I only have $300 left to go. Six people could knock that out easily at $50 each. #Run4Water #WhyIRun Donate to Wells in Africa – https://timn.me/2t9D4ne

Cool And Comfortable 14 Mile Training Run

Had a nice cool 14 mile run this morning. It’s amazing how much cooler temperatures make a difference in how you feel on the longer runs. Felt great all the way to the end. It was a bit shorter run than last week of course. Loved seeing everyone out for the group run this morning. I was glad to have gotten the 14 miles wrapped up just in time for the start of group run. #HWI #GRMarathon #Run4Water Walker, Michigan, USA

Check it out here:http://bible.com/r/Qc Just last night I had the opportunity to help start the Watch D.O.G.S. program at my children’s elementary school. One of the reasons for this is put together so nicely in my devotions this morning, showing our kids how important they are by giving them time. The essence of relationships is not what we do for each other or what we give to each other. The essence of relationships is how much of ourselves we give to each other. It’s All About The Children

We began day 3 at the World Hope offices of course. As we’ve hung out at the offices, and been driven to villages, we’ve had the opportunity to get to know many of the nationals that work for World Hope. It’s been a blessing to have people that are willing to be patient with us as we’ve tried to learn about the culture and learn to better communicate. We left the World Hope offices for a quick stop at the village of Bomballi Bana, where World Hope has been working since 2010. They worked with a church partner to assist with the development of the schools, church, and of course putting in a well. It was so awesome to see how well the students were…
