It was a real struggle to do 10 miles this morning after coming down with a cold and missing a training run. The first half was pretty good but the second half was a big push. I only got caught in a little bit of rain at the 7 mile mark so it was actually refreshing. My run this morning consisted of a combo of an #Endomondo easy and a #HWI hard Tuesday run. Though many might see me as not knowing the meaning of an easy run, ha. I spent a lot of time reflecting on my time in Sierra Leone and the defining moment that occurred and encapsulates why I run. How do you process, and what action do you take when a woman is so desperate for water that she wants you to take her child away so that they have a chance to survive? We had a fun day with the kids starting off with a birdhouse building project at Home Depot. The kids didn’t want to go but in the end they had a lot of fun. On our way home from birdhouse building we stopped to checkout the animals at PetSmart. The kida of course wanted to get more pets but we aren’t ready to go down that road just yet. We already have a cat that they have a hard time with. The afternoon was filled with festivities celebrating Jacob’s Birthday. He was so happy to have family come adn especially his school friend. Us adults enjoyed some adult conversations for a change as well. Pokemon was the highlight of Jacob’s party.

@jeremy @opendna yeah I’m pretty sure it’s just a caching issue. I updated a couple of times just now and that post is loading fine now on the web. I have to do some digging into my #OpenLiteSpeed cache settings to figure out if there is a way to have it cache and serve different versions based on the content type request. #ActivityPub has a different content type request, and thus response, than normal web browsing of course.
