So, a quick note. I’m looking to return to my daily posts. I know my posts have been rather sporatic over the past few months. This weekend should give me the opportunity to do some catch up and get my days back on a better schedule. Thanks!

    Quick One Tonight…

    Ok, long story short I’m in a little hot water as I’m behind in the website job. Technically the contract they signed covers my butt, however it’s looking like I don’t have enough time for these types of side jobs. The day was pretty good, but too many things to do, this partly due to the problems with one of the servers. Ended up being no praise team practise as too many couldn’t make it. It was alright though cause I could work on the website project and get my music together for tomorrow.   • Moved In And Lovin’ It

    Well folks (readers/freinds) I’m am now know as a Michigander (as Vanessa would call it). I haven’t gotten a new drivers license or license plates on the car but I really do feel at home at the moment. I still need to get myself familiar with the area but I’ve got a map (thx Nessa!) and I’m pretty confident I’ll figure it out in no time. The move went pretty well, all except the long drive, and little sleep, between Thursday & Friday. Thanks to those of you that helped with all the packing and loading. Actually on Friday, on the way through Wisconsin, we got stuck for an hour on the Interstate, as a trucking hauling scrap metal dumped it’s load all over the…

  • DISC and Colds…

    Not going to post much today. We had a seminar on DISC profiles today at work. It was good to understand our own personalities and how we should interact with others of different personalities. I didn’t end up going to Fargo, I need to get some rest and didn’t want things to get too late getting home. Although it’s late now, I’m heading to bed soon. I did get together with John & Anders and we watched The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy it was funny to watch again. It’s on my list of movies to purchase. I think Anders has convinced me to read the books. I got notice that my new digital camera should be here Tuesday. I’m excited to start getting out…

  • I Need A Backup…Can I Practice

    So, as things seemed to go, I didn’t get nearly what I wanted to get done at work today. Most of my time today was spent working out some backup & database issues. The worst of it is I still can’t get the backup software installed on the server. I know this is going to bite me if I don’t get it resolved soon. Interesting thing is my Dad happened to send me an email asking about backup software for their computer. I haven’t gotten a chance to respond, I figure I can talk with him about it this weekend when I’m visiting. It also got me thinking about my own backup procedure, and realized that I haven’t made a backup plan to stick to…
