Wedding Photos Available…and a Quick Update

Well, I know that I haven’t posted in awhile. Married life has changed things quite a bit for me, altough I know that even before being married I was lacking in the post, oops. Just some quick updates. Photos from the wedding are available (http://photos.noltefamily.org/), hopefully we’ll get some honeymoon photos posted soon.

The honeymoon was amazing and life now is beginning to find some normalcy. I’m loving being married, especially to have a wife as amazing as Vanessa. We had such a great evening together last night! I know there are many of you that haven’t met her yet, but I really hope that you can sometime.

Well, I need to be heading to work soon here. I’ll try to get something more posted soon.

    Your Attention Please…

    (Exodus 3:1-5) So God used a burning bush to get Moses attention. What does He use today to get our attention. I’m reminded of something a pastor said recently, “can we hear God’s whisper in this loud world?”, can we? The world that we live in is definitely busier and louder than in Biblical times.   • First Work Morning, in the New Place…

    So really yesterday was my first morning waking up in my new home, however this is the first morning that my work morning routine begins to take shape (at least until we return from our honeymoon).     Dusting Off The Blog in The Corner

    I’m going to keep this a little short as I’m actually typing this all out on my phone. I decided to try to consolidate and at the same time bring my old blog up-to-date and back into the picture. I haven’t really taken the time to blog in years. Going to perhaps pick things up again, while at the same time tie in my Twitter and facebook.     So What’s My Problem?

    In short, life, more specific, work. So as it grinds on even later in the evening I just felt I needed to get back to this things called blogging. So obviously the daily anecdotes of my life haven’t made their way to this space in cyber-space much. When life get’s crazy you have to take a hard look at what you are spending your time on.     God’s Timing…Not Ours

    (Exodus 11:1-10) Looking again at the story of Moses being used by God to bring the Isrealites out of Egypt, we can see that things didn’t go as the people, or Moses, had hoped. God, however, had a perfect plan in mind. I’ve talked about it before, but once again I am reminded, that in all things God has a plan for us. I really like both Proverbs 19:21 and also Proverbs 16:9, they both make it very clear that even though we may have something in mind, it’s ultimately God who is in control.   1. Well congrats on your wedding!!! Like the photos. Favorite shots were the butterfly on your lapel and the one of you and Vanessa right after that one. That looked like some arboretum you were in!
