So up until the end of December I’d been sticking out running outside. Since the snow began to fly I’ve taken things indoors on the dreaded treadmill. 😉 Currently the treadmill running has been thanks to a great 3-month deal on a gym membership. Once we move into our new house in February/March I’ll be on our own treadmill, which we picked up cheap(used) before Christmas. I’m planning on joining some of the Hope Water Project – Team Daybreak group runs starting this Saturday, which brings me to considering what it means to run in the cold. I saw this link today on this fancy device for an exercise ball to make it a chair. My co-worker has an exercise ball in his office he sometimes sits on. This Balance Ball Chair seems a little bit of a half attempt at the whole concept, seems like you’d lose some of the benefits of just using the exercise ball itself, but at least you have less of a chance of falling off right. ? I’ve been listening to podcasts for the better part of the last 10+ years. There have been many that have come and gone, and for sure I’ve enjoyed them all. There is however 1 podcast that currently remains on my must listen to list. That is Security Now with Steve Gibson, hosted by Leo Laporte. If there is one podcast that I still can’t manage to miss it Security Now. It get’s pretty deep but also has enough light aspects that even non-geeks can get something out of it. Anyone I know that uses the Internet should give it a listen.
