Sporting the Slip n Slide 5K shirt on my training run this morning. It was a hot one at 5am, I can’t imagine doing my run later today. Running in the heat took me back to our short 3 mile run in Freetown #SierraLeone and remembering #WhyIRun for those in need. I was blessed to have 2 fresh bottles of water available to me while I ran. That is a luxury not found by many in Sierra Leone. #HWI #HessLakeRun #GRMarathon #Run4Water

This morning was an evaluation run, but things weren’t so easy given that it had snowed and the sidewalks were more slick than I had anticipated. Not much else to share when I have these short intense runs.
