    Completed My First Marathon…

Today was a pretty big day for me. I completed my first ever marathon. It was a tough day, with the down pouring rain, wind gusts of 20 some miles per hour, and getting cramps in my legs that slowed me down, I ended the race pretty discouraged. Let’s just say it was a pretty humbling experience. I’m so thankful for all of the encouragement from the many Hope Water International runners the kept encouraging me on the way to the finish line. I especially appreciate Ron Bussa and Nick…

Clean Water Brings Safety To A Community

Imagine this picture take during the rainy season with a rushing creak under this bridge. That is just one of the many dangers that children, on the trek to water, face each day. When water isn’t easily accessible to a community most often children are tasked with making the journey each day to gather a container of water for their families. A new locally available water supply helps keep kids safe in Africa. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRMarathon Donate to Clean Water: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr

The caching services could be things like #Cloudflare or web servers such as #OpenLiteSpeed, or even WordPress caching plugins. In my case I use the OpenLiteSpeed web server caching and I started digging into how caching works in OpenLiteSpeed and how I could fix it for my WordPress site.

New Well in Waterloo, Traveling to Freetown

Today was pretty easy-going as we packed up at the hotel in Makeni to head to Waterloo & Freetown, making the first step towards the trek home. We had a nice long ride to Waterloo where we were going to see some of the final drilling stages of a new well. The well was being put in right near a school in a very poor area of Waterloo. Since it was near a school, and want looked like a community “park” there were a lot of kids around. I think there were a lot of people in general because of watching the well drilling. We’re there for about 3.5 hours before we started to see some water flowing from the well. They eventually got the…

pIn the U.S. water is so easily available that it’s easy to take it for granted. In places like Sierra Leone water is not so easy to come buy or at least clean water that won’t cause other issues. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRMarathon/p
