Reality Check…
Yeah, so I’ve been a lot of thinking lately. Surprised? 😛 Wednesday, at youth group, an interesting question was asked. “What makes you happy?” This really got me thinking. It was very hard for me to actually stop and consider what does make me happy. I made a comment about the fact that I really find enjoyment in helping others out, especially when it comes to computers. Times that I have to spend with friends, like this past weekend, that makes me happy. I think I spend so much time thinking about how alone I am that I don’t feel very happy a lot of the times. I think I’ve been living as though once I find that special someone that everything will be right… Updates Coming Soon…Hopefully Very Soon
Well, I’m going to try to tackle a big catch-up. I’ve got some dishes calling me, but afterwards, the blogging continues. Yeah so I’m been a little lax in the blog-o-sphere. Trying to get myself back in the groove of everything. So, before I hit the sack. I just have to thank the most amazing women in the world [Vanessa ;-)] for the most amazing birthday ever. OK, so some of you are thinking “it’s not your birthday yet” well, we celebrated early because we’ve got our dance class on Tuesday. Today was an awesome day! Vanessa gave me a season of Seinfeld on DVD and a disc golf bag. She took me out for dinner at a great place called Rose’s on Reeds Lake, and we had some wood-fired pizza, it was excellent. After dinner we headed over to a theatre to see an improv group (River City Improv). We had a load of laughs. Well, I’ll have to get into more later. I don’t…

So these days have been busier than ever. It’s been LB Convention time this week, and I’ve been putting in some full days for that. Tomorrow after work I head down to the Twin Cities for the night, and in the morninig begin my trip out to Michigan. Every day, and every week, I see my time hear coming closer to an end. I’m constantly torn between feelings of excitement for what God has to come, and sadness when thinking of all the people that I’ll be leaving behind. I don’t know what God has in store for me. Today God opened my eyes to the current state of my life, and the need for the support of people who love me. It can be the most humbling thing to ask for help, I have felt that tonight. My inability to say no, and my drive to please the world, have brought me to a place where many aspects of my life have suffered. I haven’t had the time needed for quality time building relationships that count. If committed to things and let people down. I’ve let the things that I’m doing push out my time with the Lord.
