Two_left_hands_forming_a_heart_shape-2Just wanted to let all of those that might be cruising to see what I’m up to that I am engaged! That’s right, there is a woman out there (Vanessa 😉 ) that would have me. 😀 We had an amazing day together, during our dinner I popped the question. It’s way late now so I’m not going to stay up to give all of the details, I’ll give the skinny tomorrow sometime. I can’t wait for you all to meet my fiancee!

    Well, it’s been crazy lately. I’ve had so many things going on. So I haven’t gotten much for posts up in the last few days. I was up way too late trying to get me photo gallery going on Thursday, after my walk. The walk Thursday was very relaxing. I wish I didn’t have so much going on all the time.     Unfortunate News…

    So I didn’t get a blog entry in yesterday. Oh well, not much went on. I spent a good portion of the day trying to work out wireless issues. I won’t go into the details, however, ended up spending time today working on it too. I guess it’s back to the drawing board on this one. I’m going to need to do some more research into this. So I got two rather unfortunate emails today, both from my Mom. She’s going to be leaving our home church and finding a new church. This has a lot to do with everything that went on with Masha and how too many people at church didn’t understand. Things were very hard for my whole family. People at church…

  • Quick For Now…Best Birthday Ever!

    So, before I hit the sack. I just have to thank the most amazing women in the world [Vanessa ;-)] for the most amazing birthday ever. OK, so some of you are thinking “it’s not your birthday yet” well, we celebrated early because we’ve got our dance class on Tuesday. Today was an awesome day! Vanessa gave me a season of Seinfeld on DVD and a disc golf bag. She took me out for dinner at a great place called Rose’s on Reeds Lake, and we had some wood-fired pizza, it was excellent.     Moving On From A Marathon…It’s Really Not About Me

    So today is the 2nd day since completing the marathon, and unfortunately I find myself in more of a discouraged state than in celebration of my accomplishment. There are many things going through my head, many thoughts that cause me to be more disappointed with marathon Sunday. Nothing played out like I had hoped. I ended up coming in behind most of all the other marathon runners from our group despite leading the pack throughout training. I didn’t get to cross the finish line with my running partner, or my kids. I ended up walking most of the last 4.5 miles. I ended up going to the medical aid tent after crossing the finish line. I have no photo of me crossing the finish line….

    So it’s been an ok day. Even though I didn’t have the time to post about my morning devotions I did ge them in before I headed off to work. Here’s hoping I can post tomorrow morning. The battle rages on against the night. So I had a meeting with On Deman Graphics in Fergus about a website job. They’ve got their own graphics people to work on the design aspects, they just need a programmer to make it happen on the web. Initially it looks to be a fairly small site, it’ll have a few different programming aspects, but it also looks to be an on going job. I’m not sure how I feel about this.     I haven’t posted on here for so long I’m sure no one is following me anymore. It’s crazy to think that there was a time when I was posting like everyday, sometimes twice. Things are of course different now. I think the thing is that when I was posting before it was all about what was going on in my life. Now my life is not just me but my wife also. I think if I put myself out here, I’m taking her along with me, and I don’t want that. The other problem seems to be finding the time.
