The Road To Water Can Be A Treacherous One

For many in Africa it is a long and sometimes treacherous road to get to the nearest place for water. Bringing a well to a village not only ensures they have clean water but also the safety of those young girls and boys that would have had to make the trip for water for their families. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRMarathon Help Protect Young Lives: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr

    Changing Focus And Changing Pace

I expected to have a better overall average time given my training plan had me doing high intensity sprints. It’s OK though as my times were faster than my plan actually called for. The 2nd half of my run was really a little bit of a wake up call on where my focus has been lately. Life has been more about me lately and I’ve been missing, or straight up ignoring the needs of people around me. A Wet Easy 11 Miles

I got 11 miles in this morning even though it was raining. With being stuck inside, and at home, pretty much all the time, I was glad to get out end enjoy the end of my run in some daylight. In spite of the rain it was warm enough that I didn’t need…

Better Together – Why We Need Community

Community is God’s answer to defeat. You need to find the people who will stand with you in tough times and say, “We’re not going to let you get discouraged. We’re not going to let you get depressed. We’re not going to let you worry. We’re going to stay here with you.” Day 2 of the @YouVersion plan ‘Better Together’ (http://bible.com/r/Qc) A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12 NLT (https://bible.com/bible/116/ecc.4.12.NLT)
