I Hear Wedding Bells…It’s Official!

Two_left_hands_forming_a_heart_shape-2Just wanted to let all of those that might be cruising to see what I’m up to that I am engaged! That’s right, there is a woman out there (Vanessa 😉 ) that would have me. 😀 We had an amazing day together, during our dinner I popped the question. It’s way late now so I’m not going to stay up to give all of the details, I’ll give the skinny tomorrow sometime. I can’t wait for you all to meet my fiancee!

    A Day of Blessings…

    Well today has been such a full day of blessings. The sermon this morning, given by President Egge, was on generosity and not just about giving money, but the generosity that Christ showed to all through time & help. It was really good to hear about being generous in all areas of your life, following Christ’s example. Our LifeShapes study was excellent as well. Today we went through the hexagon, which focuses on prayer, and using the Lord’s Prayer as the model. While it gace and guideline, it also showed the vast ways that guideline can be worked out in our prayer life.   • Start Out Another Week…

    Well, as it would happen I’m actually getting another post in. My hope was to get back to posting daily. In a sense I sort of have been posting daily, it just happens that it hasn’t been on here. I’ve been posting daily devotional thoughts over at the Faith Shaping website. I do want to attempt to get regular weekly posts at the very least. This past weekend I had a nice visit from my parents. I invited them up for a weekend just to hang out. I was kind of hoping to give them a break from things back home too.     Is There An Online Spiritual Battle Raging?

    Here’s some thoughts I had while chatting on IM tonight. timnolte: I’m getting this sense that there is a big battle raging right now for our youth timnolte: I’m starting to question where this blog thing is taking people timnolte: I’ve actually noticed a few concerning things as I’ve browsed through some of the camp staff xanga sites too timnolte: I’m starting to feel like this battle is taking place on the internet where parents can’t see it timnolte: I started getting this thought about there being a need for a ministry that focuses on youth who spend a lot of time online…. timnolte: I think the lack of physical interaction and a false sense of anonymity is giving Satan an opening for his lies…
