Parenting with Wisdom – Day 2

Finished Another 3.79mi Run Today
It was a wet snowy morning, which didn’t help my pace any. I honestly didn’t even feel like going out this morning, knowing that I don’t really have a race to train for right now. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRunUpdate, Long Overdue…
I’ve been married now for about 2.5 months. Married life has been what I hoped and more, some good and some challenging. We’ve gotten into more of a routine now, but not so much that life isn’t interesting. We’ve been trying to work on the house. A few weekends ago we put up gutters. That was an interesting job, with some challenges, but it’s all good. We’ll be doing some yard work in another few weeks. Once the grass grows back I think we’ll have a pretty nice front yard. Work has been going pretty good. The past couple of weeks I feel as though I’ve gotten nothing really accomplished, at least nothing that anyone can see. Just Another Half Marathon For Clean Water
The long training run for this day was just another 13 miles, which of course I made a half marathon by squeaking in the last 0.1 miles. On Saturdays that I don’t have early morning family commitments, or that I’m out of town, my goal is to get my miles in before the start of the #HWI group run. I love to hang out with the community even if I don’t get to run with them. I love to hear how Hope Water is impacting our running group as we are working to impact Africa with clean water. #Run4Water #WhyIRun #GRMarathon Help Bring Clean Water to Africa: https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr

It was supposed to be an easy run but with the wind and snowy walkways it was pretty tough out there this morning. #HWI #Run4Water #GroundhogMarathon #Garmin #RunningThe Good, The Bad, & The Ugly…
Well, yes I’m finally posting to the blog again. Trips tend to take me out of the blog-o-sphere. Well, sorry to disappoint many, but this is going to be a short one tonight. I’m not quite out of the dark on the sick feeling that hit me yesterday, pretty close though. The Good: Had a good time with my family and got to hang out with two of my best friends growing up. It’s interesting to see where we are all at now in life. John’s all married with a baby on the way. Sounds like they’ll be doing some moving around in the years to come. I really hope John’s finds the job he’s really looking for. Jeff is still as quirky as every….
