Blog Design Changes…

So I have done some design changes on my blog. I’ve customized it more away from the canned templated I was using. I’m not using an original panoramic photo for my header. I’ve also got the new photo gallery integrated a bit better. I’ve also added the ability to use avatars, that would be little pictures to represent yourself. I’ve even signed up for and allow the use of gravatars. Well, of course, busy-busy it has been. Not much of my life has been posted as of late. Maybe not today but hopefully tomorrow I’ll get a good long post in. On the the devos…

    Wild Life: No One Gets The Master Plan, And No One Is Perfect

    I’ve known for a long time that I’m a perfectionist and a planner. This had always been both a strength and a great weakness for me. The major weakness is that I’m always trying to figure out God’s plan and I turn my perfectionism into unrealistic expectations of others. Also my perfectionism takes a lot of joy out of life. It means that unless it’s perfect I’m not happy, and the kicker is that it most likely 9 times out of 10 it isn’t going to be perfect. That’s a pretty sad way to live honestly.     The Invisible Man Speaks!

    OK, folks. So it has been a rather long time since I last posted. Let’s just say that my life has been a little busy. Last week on Monday I started my new job. My official title is Associate Network Planning Engineer, isn’t that a mouth full. I work on a team that develops tools to help track the cellular network and help to plan for expansion. The crazy thing about last Monday was that even though I was starting no one there that day really knew that I was starting. The guys I work with got the emails that morning about me starting.     A Time of Pruning…?

    Well, it sure seems like I’ve entered into a time of pruning. I got an email tonight that someone has been hired to redesign and take over the camp website. I really haven’t been involved with it much the past year, but it seems like my involvement with camp is coming more to a close. I still have mixed feelings about this. When you give so much towards something and then not be apart of it anymore it’s just kind of a strange feeling. I really hope that they will be served well. I’m kind of feeling a little lost now.
