I Won, I Won…

Settlers of CatanYeah, Dan’s winning streak was finally broken in Settlers, I won the game. It was close, John was one roll away from winning, then he had his longest road taken away. It was downhill from there for him. Getting the longest road gave me the final points needed to win. I didn’t get a post up last night as I was working on getting a blog setup for my sister. Hope this works for her. Well, I need to go warm up the car and get to work. Good day all!

    Excellent Weekend…

    Well, I didn’t get a post made last night. I just got a little tired to make the post. Also, there wasn’t much that went on Saturday. I got up around 9:30 and got around to getting my remaining leaves cleaned up and taken to the dump before the rain came. I made some bread in the bread machine for the first time. The crust got a little harder and thicker than I would have preferred but it was tasty. I mostly bummed around that day.   • Podcast Site Development Begun…

    Well, the domain name (https://www.faithshaping.org/) has been setup, and an initial site has been created. I won’t probably be getting back to the work on this for at least another week. I hope to have the two final projects I’m working on finished up by then. I’m also hoping to have my new Podcasting gear by then, actually it may be here by the end of the week, we’ll see. I can’t wait to really get going on this. I’m not exactly sure how I’m going to fair as a radio personality type.

    Weekend of Rest and Learning

    Well, I have to say that it has been a pretty nice weekend of rest. I know that I haven’t been as regular in the blog posts. I’m still going to have to work to remedy that. I’ve actually half thought about adding an audio component to my regular blog. Since I’ve got this podcasting equipment it seems a shame to only be using it once a week. Also, I’ve gotten so many comments about my voice, why wouldn’t people want to sit and listen to me ramble.     The Invisible Man Speaks!

    OK, folks. So it has been a rather long time since I last posted. Let’s just say that my life has been a little busy. Last week on Monday I started my new job. My official title is Associate Network Planning Engineer, isn’t that a mouth full. I work on a team that develops tools to help track the cellular network and help to plan for expansion. The crazy thing about last Monday was that even though I was starting no one there that day really knew that I was starting. The guys I work with got the emails that morning about me starting. The IT deptartment wasn’t very happy as they hadn’t even begun working on getting me a computer. I basically had not…
