I Hear Wedding Bells…It’s Official!

Two_left_hands_forming_a_heart_shape-2Just wanted to let all of those that might be cruising to see what I’m up to that I am engaged! That’s right, there is a woman out there (Vanessa 😉 ) that would have me. 😀 We had an amazing day together, during our dinner I popped the question. It’s way late now so I’m not going to stay up to give all of the details, I’ll give the skinny tomorrow sometime. I can’t wait for you all to meet my fiancee!

    Being More Social?

    Well, I would say that basically I’m pretty social when it comes to being a geek. I can talk about more than just geeky stuff but give me someone that’s interested and I can definately talk geek. This is probably do to the fact that I listen to a ton of geek Podcasts. This reminds me that I need to put up some links to my Podcast favorites. I should really look at some other genres to add to my Podcast subscription list. Perhaps broaden my horizon a little. I do subscribe to a few of Christian podcasts and the President’s weekly radio address.

    So yes that’s a rather yuk-yuk pun. Just giving a little update as to the latest in the saga called my life. Oh, and don’t take that the wrong way, it was only ment in a rather sarcastic way.     Friday & Traveling…

    Well Friday was a typical day. The construction on my new office is taking a little longer than originally hoped. It looks like I should be in by next Wednesday, the server equipment will have to wait until next Friday. I had to take an early lunch break so I could be home while they fixed my internet. It ended up being some problem with the signal coming from the poll. Basically I ended up eating my lunch while I continued working at my desk.     Well, I know it’s been awhile since my last little updated, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. Vanessa & I have been having a great time with our dance class. It’s so great to have someone to dance with, as I’ve wanted to get into dance for a long time. We haven’t been up to a whole lot over the past couple of weeks because Vanessa got sick and then had some back problems.     In The Beginning

    (John 1:1-14) – John starts out describing a little about what the beginning was like. The Word was another name given to Jesus. It’s interesting that John starts out this way. It is very clear that the importance is placed on this description to setup the rest of the book. Jesus claimed he was God, was equal with God. The very fact that he also had the name of the Word and that these verses explain exactly was Jesus claimed is not insignificant.
