What is even worse is the many hand dug wells that just dry up because they don’t go down far enough. I had to drag myself out of bed this morning. It was literally a battle of wills been my mind and body. Once I got out the door and my feet began to move things felt good. It helped to have the worship music playing and reminding me the one of the reasons #WhyIRun is to have one of one time with God, sometimes just to listen for his still small voice. In the U.S. pretty much everyone has running water where they live. How much water do we use in a day? Showers, meals, washing dishes and clothes, using the bathroom, watering the flowers/garden/lawn, making coffee/tea/other drinks. What if you had to walk 2-5 miles to get a jug of water, maybe even river or pond water? Can you imagine what it would be like to have clean, drinkable, water just down the block? In an effort to trying posting on a regular basis, here goes #2 for the year. 🙂 Recently over the course of a few weeks I applied for a job, got 2 intrviews and was offered a job. The job, in-and-of itself, I would have loved, however it would have come at a great financial cost to my family, which would have made it much harder to either adopt again or think about buying a new house. I think what was most important that came out of the whole situation was the realization that neither me or my family has any real goals or plans for our lives. God really brought that to light, and really made it apparent that without that sort of plan…Nothing Like Cold Winter Weather to Motivate Your Interval Run
