The Groundhog Marathon – Another Marathon In The Books
Despite the rough training I stuck it out and participated in another Groundhog Marathon. The first half went well, but the second half not so much. It was a challenge but I finished. My daughter knows exactly how to send email on our Chromebooks and managed to do so, sending an email to my wife, without any prior direction from me. #kids #technology #parenting #gmail #email #education To provide some context, our home network and devices are all pretty well locked down and managed. Our 7 & 9 year old’s don’t have complete free reign to do whatever they want, at least without bounds. Additionally, their elementary school uses Google for Education and they get school email addresses starting at 3rd grade. My kids have experience and access to a lot of technology, both at school and at home. I’m a pretty big tech geek, given I’ve been a programmer and general IT person for the past 25…Time With God, Time To PR
Got another #PR today, for a #10K this time. Two PRs in a few days feels great but ultimately I have thanks to God for giving me the ability to get here. During this time when the best course is staying at home away from others as much as possible focusing on #WhyIRun and the people of Sierra Leone keep me going. if you let yourself get stuck on focusing on yourself you’ll start to get even more overwhelmed and selfish.
